Responsibilities:
- Collects payment from retail customers or obtains credit authorization as necessary
- Maintains inventory of parts and shop materials daily to ensure that stock remains filled and locates out-of-stock parts or shop materials when needed
- Answers phone calls, providing price quotes and other information
- Verifies will-call and back-order files weekly and returns to vendors, or stocks those items not picked up or required.
- Maintain records of all repair orders, invoices, insurance estimates and special-order parts
- Sets up orders for daily shipment, delivery or pick up
Qualifications:
- Prior experience in an automotive parts department preferred
- Maintains core knowledge of products and product updates
- Displays customer relationship and interpersonal skills
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
- Is team-oriented with a desire to achieve both individual and collective goals
- Able to pass background and drug screenings
