Landscape Project Manager
The Landscape Project Manager is responsible for overseeing high-end residential and commercial landscape construction projects from concept to completion. This individual will collaborate closely with designers, field supervisors, and clients to deliver exceptional outdoor environments that reflect creativity, quality, and precision. The ideal candidate possesses strong leadership skills, extensive hands-on experience managing construction crews, and in-depth knowledge of Zone 5 hardy plant species.
Key Responsibilities
Project Management
- Lead and coordinate multiple landscape construction projects, ensuring all work is completed on time, within budget, and in alignment with design specifications and client expectations.
- Supervise 3–4 construction crews, providing clear direction, scheduling, and logistical support.
- Ensure proper allocation of equipment, materials, and resources for each project.
Hardscape Construction
- Oversee installation of patios, walkways, retaining walls, outdoor kitchens, and other custom hardscape features with attention to detail and craftsmanship.
Carpentry and Outdoor Structures
- Apply working knowledge of general construction practices for pergolas, decks, fencing, and other outdoor structures.
Softscape Installation
- Manage planting and maintenance of trees, shrubs, perennials, and lawns to achieve aesthetically pleasing, sustainable designs.
- Utilize expertise in Zone 5 plant materials and proper horticultural care techniques.
Equipment Operation
- Safely operate and maintain construction equipment such as excavators, skid steers, and related tools.
Quality Assurance
- Maintain high standards of quality and ensure all work reflects the company’s commitment to excellence in design and construction.
Client Relations
- Communicate effectively and professionally with clients to provide progress updates, address concerns, and identify additional service opportunities.
- Prepare and distribute weekly client recap emails summarizing project milestones and next steps.
Snow Operations
- Manage snow removal routes and perform snow and ice management duties during winter events.
Safety Compliance
- Enforce safety protocols and ensure compliance with all workplace regulations to maintain a safe jobsite for all team members.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $70,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
