Requirements
Key Responsibilities
- Fabricate and install aviation sheet metal components for PSTOL flaps and aluminum struts
- Lay out, assemble, and install sheet metal parts according to engineering drawings and specifications
- Install hardware including rivets, blind rivets, bolts, and screws
- Measure and mark materials using precision tools such as rulers, squares, and scribes
- Trim, grind, deburr, and smooth metal surfaces to ensure proper fit and finish
- Assemble components using rivets, bolts, screws, and other fastening methods
- Manufacture or assist in the production of aircraft components
- Verify parts meet specifications and quality standards
- Inspect finished assemblies for accuracy and completeness
- Maintain a clean and organized workstation and follow all shop safety procedures
- Work collaboratively with the production and quality teams to meet manufacturing schedules
- Experience in sheet metal assembly, manufacturing, fabrication, or mechanical assembly
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings or blueprints
- Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and measuring tools
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Good mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work as part of a team
- Ability to stand for extended periods and handle materials safely
- Experience in aviation or aerospace manufacturing
- Familiarity with riveting and aircraft sheet metal assembly techniques
- Previous experience working in a production or manufacturing environment
