Collaborative environment working directly with a spine surgeon and PA

Mon, Wed, Fri: 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM (often out earlier depending on case load)

Tues, Thurs: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM

Assist spine surgeon and PA-C with patient care
-
Support both clinic visits and operating room procedures
-
Provide pre-operative and post-operative patient education
-
Coordinate patient care including:
-
Prior authorizations
-
Surgical scheduling
-
Imaging coordination
-
Referrals
-
Serve as a key contact for patients throughout their surgical care experience
-
Active Iowa Registered Nurse license
-
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification for Health Care Providers
-
Mandatory Reporting of Dependent Adult and Child Abuse
-
Operating room experience
-
Clinic experience
-
Spine or orthopedic specialty experience
-
$4.00/hour surgical differential after training
-
Higher starting pay possible based on experience
