McFarland Clinic is currently accepting applications for RN-Infusion Nurse Float for its Ames office. Candidates should be service-oriented, a team player, and be able to provide extraordinary care, every day to our patients.
Responsibilities include: Responsibilities include: Pre-Registration process, rooming patient and preparing patient for provider exam, obtain and document accurate and complete medical history and current medication, assist oncologists with oncologic procedures, administer IM and SQ immunizations. Prepare and administer chemotherapy and biologics, phone triage, assist physicians with clerical work associated with their practice, patient education in the area of treatment and disease management along with traveling with Oncologists to outreach clinics. Education
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
Certification/License
- Possession of Current State Registered Nurse license.
- Current Basic Life Support certification for Health Care Providers.
- Oncology Certified Nurse preferred.
Days: (FT): 4 - 10 hour days with Saturday rotation
Hours: 7:30 AM 5:30 PM.
Experience
- Previous McFarland Clinic experience preferred
- Computer/EMR experience
- Prefer Oncology and/or Med Surg experience
