Trailer Technician
Job Duties:
- Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical problems and coordinate the best solutions
- Perform preventative maintenance on trailers that includes but is not limited to
- Tires
- Brakes
- ABS Systems
- Change out “S” cams and “S” Tubes
- Electrical trouble shooting
- Mud flaps
- Slack adjusters
- Brake Chambers
- Wheel seals and hubs
- Always put the safety and satisfaction of our drivers first when working on equipment
- Prioritize maintenance and repairs of company equipment
- Communicate with drivers about the status of equipment
Qualifications:
- No experience required but the will to learn needs to be strong
- Need to be able to provide your own tools
- Strong knowledge of fleet management and maintenance shop concepts
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment and multi-task effectively
- Excellent organizational and prioritization skills
- Some weekend work may be required
- Ability to enter Repair Orders into a computer
