Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Bookkeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, managing accounts, and ensuring compliance with IOLTA regulations. The Bookkeeper will play a crucial role in supporting the financial health of our organization by utilizing their expertise in accounting and various financial software.
Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records using QuickBooks.
- Perform double entry bookkeeping to ensure all transactions are recorded accurately.
- Manage accounts receivable, including invoicing, collections, and reconciliations.
- Prepare and analyze financial statements in accordance with GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles).
- Run payroll through our SurePayroll
Requirements
- Proficiency in QuickBooks accounting software.
- Understanding of IOLTA regulations and compliance requirements (preferred)
- Familiarity with accounts receivable processes and double entry bookkeeping principles.
- Knowledge of GAAP standards is highly desirable.
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team, demonstrating effective communication skills.
