What are the responsibilities and job description for the Assistant Sales Manager (Bilingual Mandarin Preferred) position at MCCORMICK TRADING LLC?
We are looking to add a passionate assistant sales manager to join the sales team in Toy, Holiday Apparel, Party Supplies, and Home Décor Categories. You will work closely with our sales manager to perform daily sales operations on our wholesale and dropship accounts. You would also work closely with the product team & marketing team to prepare pitching materials for our new accounts.
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 10 am - 6 pm
Location: Rancho Cucamonga, CA
Responsibilities:
- Develop new accounts and drive sales for close-out inventories.
- Learn all relevant product knowledge & branding guidelines to tailor pitches to buyers.
- Handle all wholesale orders from order creation to invoicing, pricing, customer service etc.
- Plan, prepare, and visit stores and customers frequently.
- Utilize critical thinking & good design judgment to communicate pitch deck needs to designers.
- Generate sales reports weekly to the upper management team.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in sales, marketing, business or any related field
- 2 years’ experience in the sales position (preferably the same industry)
- Be excellent at interpersonal communication and people/project management
- Thrive in a fast-paced environment! Can problem-solve quickly, handle pressure & tight deadlines
- Ability to work with little supervision and track multiple processes
- Some knowledge of Adobe suite (i.e., Illustrator & Photoshop) is preferred
- Expert in Google Suite (i.e., Docs, Spreadsheet)
- Relationship with close-out buyers is a PLUS

Salary: $55,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
