Position Overview
The CDL Class A Driver – Concrete Operations supports concrete crews by transporting materials, equipment, and supplies safely and efficiently between plants, yards, and job sites. This role is primarily focused on driving and hauling, with additional jobsite support provided as needed to keep concrete operations running smoothly.
This position is ideal for an experienced CDL Class A driver who enjoys supporting field crews and operating a variety of commercial vehicles in a construction environment.

The CDL Class A Driver – Concrete Operations supports concrete crews by transporting materials, equipment, and supplies safely and efficiently between plants, yards, and job sites. This position is ideal for an experienced CDL Class A driver who enjoys supporting field crews and operating a variety of commercial vehicles in a construction environment.
Key Responsibilities
Driving & Transportation
- Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles in support of concrete operations
- Driving may include dump trucks, concrete ready-mix trucks, flatbeds, and drop decks, as well as other vehicles as needed to support operations
- Transport concrete materials, equipment, and supplies to and from job sites
- Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections in compliance with DOT regulations
- Secure loads properly and follow all company and DOT safety requirements
- Complete daily paperwork and maintain accurate delivery records
- Communicate effectively with supervisors, plant personnel, and field crews
- Report delays, equipment concerns, or jobsite issues as they arise
- Assist with loading and unloading materials as needed
- Provide jobsite support when required to keep projects moving efficiently
- Maintain punctuality and readiness for daily assignments
- Work outdoors in varying weather and jobsite conditions
- CDL Class A license required
- One (1) or more years of commercial driving experience preferred
- Experience operating dump trucks, ready-mix trucks, or flatbeds preferred
- Valid driver’s license with a relatively clean motor vehicle record
- Applicants with drug or alcohol driving offenses in the last five years will not be considered
- Other violations evaluated per insurance standards
- Ability to work 40–60 hours per week, including some Saturdays
- Strong work ethic and commitment to safety
- Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus
