With a growing number of facility upfits and machinery, we are currently seeking a Maintenance Technician to join our team. This individual will be primarily responsible for ensuring all production equipment is safe and operational while assisting with preventative maintenance tasks.
**This is a second shift position with flexible hours. Potential for overtime on a weekly basis depending on production schedule and maintenance needs. Pay based on experience.**
Job Responsibilities
The essential duties and responsibilities of this job are included but not limited to this job description other tasks may be assigned and expected to be performed.
- Assist with mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues on various production and facility equipment.
- Perform preventive maintenance to all production equipment as required.
- Initiate and complete all other jobs, projects and special assignments as directed by Maintenance Supervisor.
- Demonstrate safe work practices and always follow company safety procedures and government regulations.
- Ensure all machinery, forklifts, tools, and cords are OSHA compliant.
- Repair and replace electrical/hydraulic/pneumatic and electronic components.
- Complete maintenance requests in a timely manner.
- Document all repairs completed.
- Complete parts/supply runs as needed.
- Clean and maintain the tools and work areas.
- Basic maintenance tools required. Any specialized tools will be provided by the company.
Qualifications & Skills
- Electrical experience with three-phase power preferred.
- Mechanical knowledge, including engines, hydraulics, gearboxes, etc.
- Ability to troubleshoot and repair automation controls preferred.
- Knowledge of CNC automation a plus.
- Experience with robotics a plus.
- Ability to read and understand technical manuals and blueprints.
- Knowledge of OSHA regulations.
- Basic computer skills and ability to enter hours and work performed online.
- Ability to work within a team environment and interact with all areas of production effectively.
- Use equipment, including power tools, hand tools, electric tools efficiently and safely.
- Ability to lift 50lbs and stand for long periods of time.
- Ability to operate a scissor or boom lift preferred.
- 5 years of experience in a fast-paced manufacturing/industrial environment preferred.
