We are seeking a motivated and results-driven Rental Coordinator to join our team at McCann. The primary purpose of the job will be to support all rental activities related to our heavy equipment and general equipment rental business working out of our Addison, IL Branch. This role involves a blend of sales, rental fleet planning, day-to-day fleet management, and direct communications with sales, service, and parts departments to ensure efficient operations and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:
- Answers customers, account managers, and vendor calls and emails with urgency and accuracy of information.
- Creates rental agreements, provides accurate and timely customer invoices and updates equipment status utilizing company operating system.
- When necessary, coordinates delivery and pickup of rental equipment, as well as sold units and units for trade shows.
- Arrange trucking as needed and coordinate with stores on the timing and logistics of equipment transfers, and as needed, collaborate with external vendors for quotes and transportation service
- Coordinate with service and parts departments for equipment readiness.
- Facilitate uptime/customer satisfaction for down rental equipment through teamwork and urgency with the service and parts department.
- Become the subject matter expert of knowledge of rental fleet equipment and rental applications.
- Complete required administrative reporting.
- Ensure compliance with all logistics operations according to local, state, and federal regulations.
- Maintain safety protocols to protect personnel and equipment.
- Always communicate with Account Managers on new opportunities, follow ups, customer feedback, and conflict resolution to assure customer satisfaction, retention, and growth.
- Assist with ordering attachments, accessories etc. as needed.
Education & Experience: High School Diploma or GED; 2 or 4 year degree preferred. Strong mechanical aptitude. Knowledge of both light and heavy equipment preferred but not required. Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite required.

Physical Requirements: Lift and/or move 25lbs; occasionally lift and/or move up to 100 lbs utilizing safe methods with equipment or assistance; occasionally subject to outside weather conditions or elements; noise levels are standard business environment.

Salary : $55,000 - $80,000
