Position Overview
We are actively hiring skilled Diesel Mechanics / Diesel Technicians with hands-on experience in diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining heavy-duty diesel trucks. This role is ideal for technicians who thrive in a fast-paced shop environment and have a strong foundation in diesel systems, troubleshooting, and mechanical repair.
Core Responsibilities
- Advanced Diagnostics & Troubleshooting
- Accurately diagnose mechanical, electrical, and performance issues in diesel engines using diagnostic tools and technical expertise.
- Repair & Maintenance Execution
Perform repairs on engines, transmissions, braking systems, suspension, fuel systems, and after-treatment systems (DPF, DEF, EGR).
- Preventive Maintenance
Conduct scheduled maintenance services to ensure optimal vehicle performance and compliance with safety standards. Complete detailed and accurate repair orders, including diagnostics, labor, and parts used. Work closely with service advisors and shop leadership to ensure timely turnaround and high-quality service delivery.
Required Qualifications
- Repair Documentation
- Shop Efficiency & Collaboration
- Proven hands-on experience as a Diesel Mechanic / Technician
- Strong knowledge of diesel engines, electrical systems, and heavy-duty truck components
- Ability to diagnose and repair complex mechanical issues independently
- Own a basic set of tools required for daily mechanical work
- Reliable, punctual, and committed to high-quality workmanship
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with trailer repair and maintenance
- Familiarity with OEM diagnostic software and scan tools
- CDL (Commercial Driver’s License) – highly preferred
