What are the responsibilities and job description for the Semi Truck Dispatcher position at MBM Repair Shop?
KGZ Transport Corp. is hiring an experienced Semi Truck Dispatcher with a strong understanding of the U.S. trucking industry.
Equipment: Dry Van, Flatbed & Conestoga
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–4:00 PM
Pay: Average $1,500–$2,000/week, percentage-based depending on weekly gross.
Responsibilities
- Find, negotiate, and book profitable loads.
- Dispatch and manage assigned drivers.
- Plan routes and monitor pickups and deliveries.
- Maximize weekly gross and minimize empty miles.
- Communicate with drivers, brokers, and customers.
- Resolve daily load and transportation issues.
- Collaborate with Safety, Fleet, Accounting, OTR Support, and Management.
Requirements
- Minimum 1 year of truck dispatching experience required.
- Experience with Dry Van, Flatbed, and/or Conestoga.
- Knowledge of load boards, freight rates, HOS, and U.S. trucking operations.
- Strong communication and negotiation skills.
- Organized, responsible, and team-oriented.
