Mayvin is seeking a motivated Electrical or Systems Engineer with a background in engineering fundamentals and exposure to networked systems or radio frequency (RF) technologies to support a Technical Security Program. This role is ideal for candidates with strong technical aptitude who are interested in developing skills in RF monitoring, networked sensor systems, and technical security technologies. The position provides hands-on experience with deployed systems and opportunities for growth into more advanced engineering responsibilities.
Must be a U.S. Citizen.
Must have an active Top-Secret clearance with SCI eligibility.
Responsibilities:
- Support the installation, configuration, and maintenance of technical security and monitoring systems
- Assist with network setup and troubleshooting, including basic routing, switching, and connectivity issues
- Perform system-level integration of hardware with software platforms, databases, and monitoring dashboards
- Troubleshoot system issues across hardware, software, and network components
- Develop and maintain technical documentation, including system architectures, interface control documents, and test plans
- Participate in continuous improvement efforts and learn new technologies related to RF and network systems
- Provide operational and engineering support to ongoing Technical Security missions, including field deployments, testing, and system validation Perform research, selection, modification, design, and/or development of Technical Security equipment and systems
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related technical field, preferably from an ABET-accredited program
- Minimum 3 years of relevant experience
- Basic understanding of computer networking concepts (TCP/IP, routing, switching, VLANs, and network security)
- Exposure to RF concepts (coursework or hands-on experience with spectrum tools)
- Familiarity with basic scripting or programming (e.g., Python)
- Ability to follow technical procedures and troubleshoot problems methodically
- Willingness to support field work, shift schedules, and travel as required
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools
Preferred Qualifications:
- Exposure to spectrum analyzers, RF tools, or signal analysis (academic or professional)
- Familiarity with Linux or basic command-line tools
- Entry-level certifications such as Network or similar
- Interest in RF systems, cybersecurity, or technical security missions
