Job Overview
Mayer Brothers Apple Products, Inc. is seeking an experienced Production Lead to join our 2nd shift team at our Barker, NY facility. This is a hands-on leadership role responsible for supporting production operations, leading employees, and ensuring safety, quality, and productivity goals are met.
- Hours: 4:00 PM – 2:30 AM
- Overtime may be required based on production needs.
Responsibilities
- Lead and support production employees throughout the shift.
- Ensure production schedules are met while maintaining quality standards.
- Promote and enforce all safety, food safety, GMP, and company policies.
- Train, coach, and motivate team members.
- Monitor workflow and address production issues as they arise.
- Communicate effectively with supervisors, maintenance, quality, and other departments.
- Complete production documentation accurately and in a timely manner.
- Assist with staffing, employee performance, and shift coverage as needed.
Qualifications
- Previous experience working in a manufacturing, factory, or production plant is required.
- Prior experience as a Lead, Team Lead, Supervisor, or similar leadership role is required.
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
- Basic computer and documentation skills.
- Forklift experience is a plus but not required.
