IT Data Analyst / Data Analyst

Position OverviewWe are seeking an IT Data Analyst / Data Analyst to support operational systems,data workflows, and reporting across the organization. This role sits at the intersectionof IT, operations, and analytics, and is responsible for managing data integrations,automating file transfers, ensuring data accuracy, and delivering actionable insights tobusiness leaders.The ideal candidate is comfortable working with SFTP workflows, scripting, andsystem-level data processes, while also communicating effectively with non-technicalstakeholders. Key ResponsibilitiesData Integration Workflow Management Manage inbound and outbound data feeds between internal systems andexternal partners Develop, monitor, and troubleshoot SFTP file transfers Ensure timely, accurate, and complete data delivery Maintain file structures, permissions, and archival processesAutomation Scripting Write and maintain scripts (Python, Bash, PowerShell, or similar) to automate:o File ingestion and deliveryo Data validation and reconciliationo Error handling and notifications Schedule and monitor automated jobs using cron or task schedulersReporting Analytics Build and maintain operational dashboards and reports  Analyze data trends to support decision-making and performance tracking Support KPI reporting for operations, finance, and leadership Work with BI tools such as Grow, or similar platformsSystems Software Support Support and maintain data-related applications and integrations Collaborate with IT, operations, and vendors to resolve data issues Document workflows, processes, and system dependencies Assist with system enhancements and integration projectsData Governance Quality Validate data accuracy, consistency, and completeness Support compliance and audit requirements Manage access controls and data security best practices Required Qualifications 2 years of experience in a Data Analyst, IT Data Analyst, or similar role Experience working with SFTP/SSH and file-based data transfers Strong scripting skills (Python, Bash, PowerShell, or equivalent) Working knowledge of SQL and relational databases Experience with Excel and/or BI reporting tools Ability to troubleshoot data and integration issues independently Preferred Qualifications Experience supporting operational or logistics systems Familiarity with Linux or Windows Server environments Experience with automation and scheduled workflows Knowledge of EDI, CSV, XML, or JSON data formats Prior experience in transportation, finance, or regulated environments Skills Attributes Strong attention to detail and data accuracy Analytical and problem-solving mindset Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines Clear written and verbal communication skills Comfortable working cross-functionally with technical and non-technical teams

Salary : $65,000 - $80,000
