School Based Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)

MaxAbility is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our dynamic team in Omaha, Nebraska. Full time and part time position(s) available in school settings in the Omaha, Nebraska / Council Bluffs, Iowa area.

Our team of dedicated therapists works collaboratively to create individualized treatment plans designed to help children reach their full potential and achieve their goals.
Position Overview:
As an SLP, you will have the opportunity to work in a collaborative environment where you can make a difference in the lives of children with speech, language, and communication disorders. Pediatric experience preferred but not required.
Responsibilities:
- Evaluates, diagnoses, and treats speech, language, and communication disorders in students.
- Develop individualized education plans based on student needs and goals.
- Collaborate with other healthcare providers, educators, and families to ensure comprehensive care.
- Document student progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary.
- Educate students and their families about communication disorders and treatment strategies.
- Participate in ongoing professional development to stay current with best practices in the field.
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
- Valid state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist in Nebraska and/or Iowa.
- New graduates are considered, with supervision provided for completing their clinical fellowship year.
- Strong knowledge of speech and language disorders, assessment techniques, and therapeutic interventions.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
