Learning Experience (LEX) Internship – Summer 2026 Location: Salt Lake City, UT – Base Camp Headquarters
Pay: $15.00/hour for Bachelor's Program, $21.00/hour for Master's Program
Hours: ~30–40 hours/week
Dates: June to August 2026 Summary Overview of Internship At Maverik, we don’t just offer jobs, we offer adventures. As a Learner Experience Intern, you’ll gain hands-on experience while contributing to meaningful learning initiatives that support Maverik’s corporate and retail teams. You’ll work closely with the Learner Experience team to help modernize training materials and support the development of engaging learning solutions. This internship combines project ownership with real-world exposure to how learning programs are designed, developed, and delivered across the organization. Key Project You’ll Support:   Microlearning Development Initiative

• Convert existing QRDs and static training materials into interactive micro-courses
• Redesign training content to transition from static, read-only documents to interactive learning experiences
• Develop microlearning modules that are engaging, trackable, and aligned with Maverik learning standards
• Help establish a scalable framework for converting future learning content into microlearning formats

The intern will summarize findings, recommendations, and outcomes at the conclusion of the internship. Additional Hands-On Exposure:

• Observe and participate in instructional design planning and development processes
• Support updates to learning templates and training assets
• Collaborate with instructional designers on course development and learning strategies
• Gain exposure to tools used for course design, development, and training delivery

Qualifications:

• Preference will be given to applicants who reside in Utah, as this is an on-site opportunity based at our headquarters
• A full-time college student who has completed their sophomore year by the start of the internship
• Currently enrolled at an accredited university
• Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Effective communication skills (written and verbal)
• Experience or interest in instructional design, learning development, or content creation
• Team-oriented, proactive, and eager to learn
