Learning Experience (LEX) Internship – Summer 2026 Location: Salt Lake City, UT – Base Camp Headquarters
Pay: $15.00/hour for Bachelor's Program, $21.00/hour for Master's Program
Hours: ~30–40 hours/week

- Convert existing QRDs and static training materials into interactive micro-courses
- Redesign training content to transition from static, read-only documents to interactive learning experiences
- Develop microlearning modules that are engaging, trackable, and aligned with Maverik learning standards
- Help establish a scalable framework for converting future learning content into microlearning formats
- Observe and participate in instructional design planning and development processes
- Support updates to learning templates and training assets
- Collaborate with instructional designers on course development and learning strategies
- Gain exposure to tools used for course design, development, and training delivery
- Exposure to instructional design and corporate learning development
- Experience creating interactive digital learning content
- Opportunity to help modernize training content used across Maverik
- Cross-functional collaboration with Talent Development and Learning Strategy teams
- Real-world insight into how learning programs support Maverik’s employee development
- Preference will be given to applicants who reside in Utah, as this is an on-site opportunity based at our headquarters
- A full-time college student who has completed their sophomore year by the start of the internship
- Currently enrolled at an accredited university
- Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Effective communication skills (written and verbal)
- Experience or interest in instructional design, learning development, or content creation
- Team-oriented, proactive, and eager to learn
Salary : $15 - $21
