Warehouse Inventory Specialist

As a Warehouse Inventory Specialist, you will play a vital role in the seamless flow of materials by managing stock, executing precise inventory counts, and ensuring the efficient movement of goods. You will be responsible for maintaining an organized warehouse environment and supporting logistics operations to ensure our team meets its daily productivity and safety goals.

• Operate heavy equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and yard tractors to move, load, and organize inventory safely.
• Execute accurate cycle counts and maintain detailed audit trails to ensure inventory integrity and location accuracy.
• Pick, pack, and prepare customer orders for shipment, verifying documentation to minimize errors.
• Maintain a clean, hazard-free facility by managing waste removal, recycling, and correcting unsafe storage patterns.
• Perform pre- and post-trip inspections on all warehouse and yard equipment to ensure operational readiness.
• Collaborate with team members to expedite service requests and optimize warehouse workflow.

Required Skills

• High School Diploma or GED.
• 2-3 years of experience in a warehouse, logistics, or inventory control role.
• Proficiency in basic mathematical calculations for inventory tracking.
• Ability to lift up to 100 pounds and perform physical tasks in varied temperature environments.
• Strong communication skills and ability to follow precise safety protocols.

Preferred Skills

• Prior experience operating a yard goat or semi-tractor for trailer maneuvering.
• Advanced knowledge of inventory management software and documentation procedures.
• Proven track record of maintaining high standards of warehouse organization and safety.
