About the Role
As a Logistics and Assembly Specialist, you will provide premium white-glove delivery services for high-end fitness equipment. You will play a vital role in ensuring customer satisfaction by managing the safe transport and precise installation of bulky goods directly into residential homes.
Responsibilities- Coordinate the pickup of fitness machinery from distribution centers and execute timely residential deliveries.
- Perform professional-grade assembly and installation of equipment according to manufacturer technical specifications.
- Operate a Sprinter van or box truck safely while maintaining strict adherence to all state and federal transportation regulations.
- Utilize hand and power tools to ensure all products are fully functional and ready for immediate use upon delivery.
- Maintain high standards of communication and technical proficiency via mobile devices to track delivery status and customer interactions.
- Collaborate effectively with a dedicated helper to manage the handling of heavy and oversized items with care.
Required Skills
- Ownership or lease of a Sprinter van or box truck.
- Proven experience in mechanical assembly and the use of professional power tools.
- Ability to pass comprehensive background, drug, and motor vehicle record screenings.
- Valid EIN (Federal Tax ID) and compliance with all relevant insurance and vehicle registration requirements.
Preferred Skills
- Prior experience in white-glove delivery or furniture/fitness equipment installation.
- Possession of a valid DOT/MC number for vehicles exceeding 10,000 lbs GVWR.
- Experience with lift-gate operations and heavy-duty cargo handling.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a commitment to delivering an exceptional customer experience.
