Quality Assurance Technician - Manufacturing

As a Quality Assurance Technician, you will play a vital role in upholding manufacturing excellence by verifying that all machined components meet rigorous precision standards. You will utilize your technical aptitude to perform detailed inspections, support production efficiency, and ensure that only high-quality products proceed through the manufacturing lifecycle.

• Conduct precise dimensional measurements on processed work pieces using specialized gauges to verify conformance to technical specifications.
• Execute first-piece inspections and monitor product conditions to proactively identify and mitigate potential defects.
• Collaborate with setup personnel to facilitate efficient equipment changeovers and support continuous production flow.
• Maintain accurate documentation of inspection data and production metrics within digital tracking systems.
• Manage the segregation of non-conforming materials and communicate quality issues to leadership to ensure operational standards are met.
• Handle and position heavy machine components safely using manual techniques or mechanical lifting equipment.
• Uphold a culture of safety by strictly adhering to environmental and ergonomic protocols throughout the facility.

Qualifications

Required Skills

• Proven ability to lift, push, and pull between 10 and 50 lbs consistently.
• Capability to stand and remain mobile throughout the duration of a shift.
• Commitment to wearing all required personal protective equipment (PPE) as mandated by safety standards.
• Ability to successfully complete pre-employment background and health screenings.
