About the Role
We are seeking a skilled Process Specialist to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be instrumental in optimizing process parameters, troubleshooting issues, and driving continuous improvement initiatives. Your expertise in injection molding and tool setup will contribute to achieving zero defects and maximizing machine uptime.
Responsibilities- Optimize injection molding processes to ensure adherence to specifications and minimize defects.
- Troubleshoot process-related issues, implementing corrective actions to maintain quality and efficiency.
- Document and maintain accurate records of process parameters and adjustments.
- Collaborate with quality and operations teams to resolve part and process concerns.
- Drive scrap reduction initiatives through the identification and elimination of root causes.
- Participate in mold change activities to improve uptime and throughput.
- Identify and address maintenance needs to ensure optimal equipment performance.
Required Skills
- Proficiency in plastics, including Nylon 6 material.
- Extensive experience with injection molding processes.
- Hands-on experience with tool/die/mold setup.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with plastic extrusion.
- Familiarity with conveyor systems and forklifts.
- Strong understanding of safety protocols and procedures.
