Manufacturing Operations Lead

As a Manufacturing Operations Lead, you will spearhead production initiatives, optimize facility workflows, and drive operational excellence to meet rigorous quality and output targets. You will play a pivotal role in fostering a high-performance culture by mentoring supervisory teams and implementing strategic process improvements across the manufacturing floor.

• Direct daily production activities to ensure compliance with quality standards and throughput objectives.
• Champion a culture of safety by enforcing rigorous workplace protocols and identifying hazard mitigation strategies.
• Manage departmental budgets and operational costs to maximize efficiency and resource utilization.
• Oversee workforce planning and scheduling to align labor capacity with production demand.
• Resolve employee relations matters and promote a collaborative, equitable work environment.
• Develop and mentor supervisory staff to build a resilient, high-accountability production team.
• Execute continuous improvement initiatives to streamline manufacturing processes and reduce waste.

Required Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, or a related discipline, or 10 years of equivalent foundry manufacturing experience.
• Proven leadership track record in driving operational performance and team development.
• Strong financial acumen with experience managing budgets and production metrics.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and enterprise resource planning tools.
• Demonstrated expertise in change management and high-stakes decision-making.

Preferred Skills

• Advanced knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and Six Sigma methodologies.
• Experience managing large-scale industrial or heavy manufacturing operations.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
