About the Role
We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to ensure the operational efficiency of our manufacturing facility. In this role, you will be instrumental in troubleshooting equipment malfunctions, performing preventative maintenance, and implementing improvements to enhance manufacturing processes. Your expertise in electrical systems, robotics, and PLC logic will be critical to our success.
Responsibilities- Maintain and repair all plant equipment, buildings, and grounds to ensure a safe and productive work environment.
- Diagnose and resolve issues with presses and robots, collaborating with Process Technicians to optimize performance.
- Conduct preventive maintenance tasks and maintain accurate records to minimize downtime and ensure equipment longevity.
- Troubleshoot and repair automated equipment, including sensors, servo controls, VFDs, and HMIs, to maintain production efficiency.
- Identify and address maintenance concerns, contributing to the resolution of issues and the continuous improvement of plant operations.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and procedures, adhering to OSHA and ANSI regulations.
- Complete repairs on hydraulic systems, HVAC, conveyors, and pneumatic circuits to maintain facility infrastructure.
- Read and interpret PLC ladder logic to troubleshoot and implement minor program adjustments.
Required Skills
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- 3 years of experience in troubleshooting injection molding and related equipment.
- Proficiency in reading electrical and mechanical drawings.
- Willingness to obtain certifications on forklift and scissor lift equipment.
Preferred Skills
- Degree in a related technical field is a plus.
- Experience with robotics and programmable controls, including program modification.
- Strong industrial electrical knowledge.
- Experience with plant machinery, electronics, hydraulics, pneumatics, and HVAC systems.
