Role Overview
Our team is looking for a reliable and talented Industrial Maintenance Technician to oversee the upkeep and repair of our production machinery. In this high-energy setting, you will be tasked with identifying issues across mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems, as well as executing preventive maintenance strategies to boost operational efficiency and safety.
Primary Duties- Execute both preventive and reactive maintenance tasks on facility and production machinery
- Resolve technical issues within electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic frameworks
- Identify the root cause of equipment malfunctions to help minimize production delays
- Analyze technical manuals, blueprints, and schematics to guide repair processes
- Service and install industrial components like gearboxes, motors, pumps, conveyors, and bearings
- Complete fabrication and welding tasks to support machine repairs
- Assist in the upkeep of automated systems and PLC-controlled hardware
- Log maintenance tasks and perform regular equipment health checks
- Help maintain a safe working environment for the entire team by strictly following LOTO protocols
- Contribute to reliability improvements to help drive overall equipment effectiveness
- Work alongside engineering and production staff to address complex maintenance challenges
- Keep the maintenance workspace tidy and well-organized
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Formal industrial maintenance training or technical certification is a plus
- Minimum of two years of hands-on experience within a production or manufacturing facility
- Deep understanding of pneumatic, hydraulic, electrical, and mechanical systems
- Proven track record in diagnosing and fixing automated industrial machinery
- Proficiency with precision instruments, power tools, and standard hand tools
- Familiarity with control systems, VFDs, motors, and conveyors is highly valued
- Background in fabrication and welding is considered an asset
- Ability to interpret mechanical drawings and electrical schematics
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities
- Capacity to function effectively both as an individual contributor and as a team member
- Capable of standing, walking, bending, and lifting weights up to 50 pounds on a consistent basis
