About the Role
As an Industrial Maintenance Electrician, you will serve as a vital technical expert responsible for ensuring the peak performance and reliability of our manufacturing infrastructure. You will leverage your expertise in PLC troubleshooting, motor controls, and electrical systems to minimize downtime and drive operational efficiency across our production floor.
Responsibilities- Diagnose, repair, and maintain complex manufacturing equipment, including extruders, winders, and automated packaging systems.
- Execute proactive maintenance and calibration tasks to optimize machine uptime and production throughput.
- Troubleshoot and program PLC hardware and variable frequency drives to ensure seamless automation performance.
- Interpret technical schematics, blueprints, and electrical diagrams to perform precise installations and repairs.
- Apply National Electrical Code (NEC) standards to all electrical work to ensure safety and regulatory compliance.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve technical challenges and improve equipment reliability.
- Document maintenance activities and work orders accurately to maintain comprehensive equipment service histories.
- Utilize advanced electrical test equipment to analyze system performance and implement corrective actions.
Required Skills
- 1 years of experience in industrial maintenance or equivalent technical training.
- Proficiency with AC/DC motors, motor controls, and electrical distribution systems.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to troubleshoot complex automated machinery.
- Capability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics.
- Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting up to 50 lbs, climbing, and working in various positions.
- Commitment to maintaining a safe work environment in accordance with OSHA standards.
Preferred Skills
- Hands-on experience with pneumatic and hydraulic systems.
- Advanced knowledge of PLC logic and industrial automation controls.
