Entry Level Mechanical Assembler

About the Role

We are looking for a dedicated Mechanical Assembler to join our manufacturing team in Alvarado, TX. You will be responsible for executing diverse assembly tasks, working directly with various components, machinery, and finished goods.

The perfect individual for this role possesses a natural mechanical aptitude, enjoys manual labor, and demonstrates the ability to rapidly master new production techniques.

Position Details

Site: Alvarado, TX

Compensation: $17.75 per hour

Schedule: Day shift, consisting of four 10-hour workdays

Availability: Overtime is both offered and anticipated

Environment: Fully onsite

Core Duties

• Execute various mechanical and electro-mechanical assembly tasks.
• Ensure components are properly fitted, mounted, aligned, and adjusted throughout the build.
• Construct equipment housings, mechanical parts, connecting lines, and associated hardware.
• Utilize air presses, power drills, and standard hand tools to improve production efficiency.
• Examine materials and parts to detect any potential quality flaws.
• Conduct preliminary operational tests on finished assemblies to ensure functionality.
• Adhere strictly to established production protocols, quality benchmarks, and technical instructions.
• Help maintain a clean and safe working environment for the entire team.
• Consistently achieve production targets while upholding high standards for quality and safety.

• Demonstrates mechanical inclination and ease when handling tools.
• Possesses strong manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination.
• Capable of learning rapidly and adjusting to existing manufacturing workflows.
• Skilled at inspecting components to identify and mitigate quality concerns.
• Reliable and comfortable performing tasks within a manufacturing setting.
• Prior background in mechanical or manufacturing assembly is a plus.
• Ideally possesses 1 to 2 years of relevant professional experience.

Work Schedule

• Daytime hours
