Controls Systems Technician

About the Role

Responsibilities

• Maintain and configure PLC systems and related equipment to maximize uptime.
• Diagnose and resolve issues with PLC programs and hardware to minimize disruptions.
• Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on control systems to ensure reliability.
• Work with engineering teams to improve system performance and efficiency.
• Keep detailed records of all maintenance activities and system modifications.
• Provide technical support to team members as needed, enhancing their understanding of PLC systems.

Qualifications

Required Skills

• Associate's degree in Electrical Engineering, Automation Technology, or a related field.
• Demonstrated experience with PLC programming and troubleshooting (e.g., Allen-Bradley, Siemens).
• Solid understanding of electrical schematics and control systems.
• Proficiency in PLC Troubleshooting and Electrical Systems Diagnostics & Repair.

Preferred Skills

• Familiarity with HMI and SCADA systems.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to collaborate effectively within a team.
• Experience with Industrial Robot Programming and PLC Wiring.
