Position Summary:
Lead the end-to-end service operations for both sales and rental equipment—overseeing shop and field technicians, parts coordination, warranty administration, service quality, and customer satisfaction. Drive operational performance, safety, and profitability across the department.
Key Responsibilities
- Team Leadership & Development
- Recruit, train, mentor, and motivate service and warranty staff.
- Conduct performance reviews, manage development plans, and facilitate ongoing education and cross-training.
- Operations & Workflow Management
- Oversee maintenance and repair work schedules, shop layout, and field dispatching for both rental and sales inventories.
- Manage service department P&L, budget, labor allocation, parts spending, and warranty recovery.
- Customer & Warranty Administration
- Serve as liaison for escalated customer service issues; resolve complaints and safeguard satisfaction.
- Monitor and drive warranty claim submissions and follow-up with manufacturers.
- Safety & Quality Oversight
- Enforce safety protocols (OSHA, DOT, PPE); oversee quality-control processes and shop safety meetings.
- Approve service documentation and ensure compliance on all completed repairs.
- Parts & Inventory Coordination
- Collaborate with parts team to sustain correct inventory levels; reduce hold-ups and maximize uptime.
- Oversee ordering, returns, and stock control processes.
- Reporting & Process Improvement
- Track KPIs—utilization, service metrics, cost control, warranty recovery—and drive solution-based improvements.
- Update SOPs, introduce continuous improvement initiatives, and optimize departmental workflows.
Pay: $90,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
