Position Summary: The Infusion Technician is responsible for effectively installing vacuums, feed lines and bagging material to prepare for the infusion process.
Responsibilities/Duties:
- Install vacuums, feed lines and bagging material according to SOP.
- Load dry materials into the closed mold to prepare for infusion.
- Properly mix resins; following charts and scales for measurements.
- Carefully observe the infusion process to make sure there are no leaks or air holes.
- Conduct dropdown testing to gauge proper infusion levels according to SOP.
- Run and maintain the infusion pumps.
- Carefully debag molds for the next step in the building process.
- Ability to perform job functions safely and effectively in a fast-paced environment while wearing all required PPE and following safety policy and hazardous material guidelines.
- Must practice good housekeeping by keeping work areas clean at all times.
- Other duties as assigned.
