What are the responsibilities and job description for the Infusion Technician position at MAVERICK BOAT GROUP INC?

Position Summary:  The Infusion Technician is responsible for effectively installing vacuums, feed lines and bagging material to prepare for the infusion process.  

 

Responsibilities/Duties:

  • Install vacuums, feed lines and bagging material according to SOP.
  • Load dry materials into the closed mold to prepare for infusion.
  • Properly mix resins; following charts and scales for measurements.
  • Carefully observe the infusion process to make sure there are no leaks or air holes.
  • Conduct dropdown testing to gauge proper infusion levels according to SOP.
  • Run and maintain the infusion pumps.
  • Carefully debag molds for the next step in the building process.
  • Ability to perform job functions safely and effectively in a fast-paced environment while wearing all required PPE and following safety policy and hazardous material guidelines.
  • Must practice good housekeeping by keeping work areas clean at all times.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Education and/or Experience: High School diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

 

Language Skills: Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions.

 

Mathematical Skills: General math skills required.

 

Reasoning Ability: Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving variables in procedures.
