Position Summary:

The Mill Shop Technician is responsible for prepping materials to be cut on the glass table and/or installed.

Responsibilities:

  • Prep materials for installation by drilling, sanding, buffing and polishing.
  • Ensure all glass kits are complete and delivered timely.
  • Must be able to follow all safety rules and hazardous material guidelines.
  • Able to follow directions and have attention to detail.
  • Ability to perform job functions safely and effectively in a fast-paced environment while wearing all required PPE and following safety policy.
  • Must practice good housekeeping by keeping work areas clean at all times.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Education and/or Experience: High School diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Language Skills: Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions.

Mathematical Skills: General math skills required.

Reasoning Ability: Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
