As Service Foreman, you are responsible for overseeing day-to-day operations of the service department, including supervising service technicians, ensuring high-quality repair work, and optimizing workflow efficiency. This role acts as a key liaison between service team and management, ensuring that service objectives are met while maintaining a high standard of customer satisfaction. You are to model behaviors and a culture for success including integrity, respect, drive, community, fun and pride without ego, with self-confidence, and creativity.
Job Duties and Responsibilities including, but not limited to:
- Ensures work is completed as outlined on repair order with efficiency and accuracy, in accordance with dealership and factory standards.
- Assists technicians in developing their skills.
- Understands and ensures compliance with manufacturer warranty and policy procedures.
- Ensures that all repairs are assigned to technicians in accordance with dealership guidelines.
- Provides technical support for technicians when necessary.
- Accounts for all documents; ensures that none are missing and processed correctly.
- Manages all guest complaints in a timely manner.
- Fills in for service advisor when necessary.
- Strives for harmony and teamwork within the department and with all other departments.
- Reports machinery defects or malfunctions to service manager.
- Ensures that customers’ cars are kept clean. Notifies service advisor immediately of anything that has happened to change the appearance or condition of the vehicle.
- Supports to keep the service drive, bays, and shop area clean on a daily basis.
- Operates all tools and equipment in a safe manner. Reports any safety issues immediately to management.
- Ensure compliance with all applicable laws, rules, regulations (i.e. OSHA Right-to-Know), and standards to maintain the legality and business integrity of Dealership.
- Maintain high-quality control of service repairs to minimizes comebacks.
- Maintain safe work environment.
- Other tasks as assigned.
Strong motivation.
Ability to manage change and detail-oriented processes.
Maintain a valid driver's license with a clean record.
Comply with all dealership and manufacturer job-related training and requirements.
Adhere to the employee handbook policies and procedures.
Proficient computer skills, including Excel.
Ability to achieve goals with high guest satisfaction ratings.
Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
Salary : $60,000 - $100,000
