Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Personal Injury Attorney to join our team. In this role, you will manage a caseload of personal injury matters from inception through settlement, advocating for clients and working to secure fair compensation for their injuries.
Responsibilities:
- Manage and strategically litigate a caseload of personal injury matters from intake through resolution
- Draft pleadings, including complaints, motions, oppositions, and other legal documents to support case progression
- Draft and respond to discovery, including meet-and-confer correspondence and discovery motions
- Prepare for, take, and defend percipient and expert depositions
- Argue motions and oppositions in court and at remote hearings
- Draft mediation briefs, attend mediations, and actively participate in settlement negotiations
- Collaborate with senior attorneys to develop case strategy and evaluate case value
- Communicate regularly with clients regarding case updates and developments
- Prepare pre-trial documents and trial materials as needed
- Participate in hearings, mediations, and other litigation proceedings
- Supervise and provide guidance to litigation assistants and paralegals
Qualifications:
- Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school
- Active membership in the California State Bar and in good standing
- 2 years of personal injury litigation experience required
- Ability to manage a caseload independently while working collaboratively within a team
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Demonstrated commitment to client advocacy, professionalism, and integrity
- Excellent research, analytical, and negotiation skills

Salary : $140,000 - $230,000
