The successful candidate will collaborate closely with marketing and content teams to create high-quality digital content while managing multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Record, edit, and produce podcast episodes, including audio cleanup, sequencing, and preparation of final deliverables
- Create and edit short-form video content for social media, webinars, event recaps, interviews, and promotional campaigns
- Apply creative editing techniques, including pacing, framing, sound design, and visual storytelling
- Conduct light research to support content development, captions, podcast topics, and related materials
- Manage content projects, timelines, and workflows using project management tools
- Stay informed on current social media trends, content formats, and audience engagement strategies
- Provide occasional onsite photo and video coverage for events and marketing initiatives
- Capture high-quality visual assets using DSLR and/or mirrorless camera equipment
- Maintain organized file structures, asset libraries, and version control across all deliverables
- Ensure all content aligns with brand standards and marketing objectives
- 2–4 years of experience in content production, multimedia production, video editing, or related fields
- Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite, including:
- Premiere Pro
- Photoshop
- Lightroom
- Experience producing and editing podcast content
- Experience creating short-form video content for digital and social platforms
- Working knowledge of DSLR and/or mirrorless camera equipment
- Strong understanding of social media platforms, content trends, and audience engagement best practices
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality content
- Experience supporting corporate, financial services, marketing, or agency environments
- Familiarity with AI-powered tools for editing, content creation, research, or workflow optimization
- Experience using project management platforms such as Wrike, Asana, Monday.com, or similar tools
- Demonstrated portfolio showcasing video, podcast, and multimedia content production
- Part-time engagement averaging approximately 20 hours per week
- Flexible work arrangement with remote work and occasional onsite attendance for events and content capture
- Candidates should be located within commuting distance of New York City and available to attend onsite events as needed
- Opportunity for additional hours based on project volume and business needs
