Content Strategist III (Contract)

We are seeking a Content Strategist with 5–7 years of experience to support a leading global digital media and streaming platform. In this role, you will lead the end-to-end ideation and planning of content campaigns, shaping narrative, strategy, and execution from concept through launch.
As part of an Editorial Creative team, you will collaborate cross-functionally to define campaign objectives, develop content strategies, and ensure cohesive storytelling across on-platform and off-platform channels. You will deliver clear, actionable briefs to production teams and guide projects through execution while maintaining alignment with stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead creative brainstorms to define campaign narratives, editorial point of view, and storytelling frameworks
- Partner cross-functionally with programming, artist/partner relations, marketing, PR, social, and copy teams to align on goals and secure stakeholder buy-in
- Develop and finalize on-platform rollout and featuring strategies aligned with campaign objectives and audience targeting
- Create comprehensive campaign briefs that translate strategy into production-ready direction
- Collaborate closely with producers throughout execution and launch to ensure alignment across design, copy, and creative output
- Monitor campaign progress, identify risks or gaps, and recommend strategic adjustments as needed
- Support post-launch reporting, including executive summaries and campaign recaps with key insights and learnings
- Manage 4–6 active campaigns simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
- 5–7 years of experience in content strategy, editorial, or campaign planning—preferably within media, entertainment, or digital platforms
- Strong storytelling and editorial judgment with the ability to shape compelling narratives
- Proven experience working cross-functionally and managing multiple stakeholders
- Excellent communication, organization, and project management skills
- Ability to translate high-level strategy into clear, actionable creative briefs
- Hybrid role based in Culver City, CA
