What are the responsibilities and job description for the Sales Coordinator position at Material Handling Systems Inc?
Material Handling Systems is looking for a highly motivated employee to help in organizing our sales effort, quote and follow up with customers, and stream-line/create all procedures to increase productivity and improve customer service.
Candidate must be able to use CRM and excel systems on a daily basis for new customer tracking and have an aptitude to learn about cranes, hoists, and other technical aspects of the company.
Candidate will work with branch managers to schedule, order parts, and close jobs. Candidate will also interface with existing customer base and work on growing new customer base.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
· Impeccable organizational skills
· Ability to write clear and concise procedures for utilization by department
· Aptitude to learn technical aspects of MHS
· Ability to apply technical learnings to creating quotes
· Entering customers into CRM database
· Great customer service
· Able to deal with stressful/time sensitive situations
· Good communication skills with other sales people
· Knowledgeable in Excel and Word
· Positive, Energetic attitude
· Ordering parts and corresponding with distributors to get part costs for quotes
· Control downtime by performing routine maintenance on procedures and instruct sales team on proper operation of procedures
· Address, mediate, and resolve customer concerns, complaints, and issues.
· Interact regularly with customers.
· Acquires uses and continuously develops personal technical and professional knowledge of products and general sales skills to assist customers and other company personnel.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $16.00 - $20.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
