Senior Systems / Infrastructure Engineer (Onsite)

Location: Dallas, TX (100% Onsite – 5 Days/Week)

Duration: 6 Month Contract (Strong Potential for Full-Time Conversion After Approximately 12 Months)

Position Type: Contract

Pay Rate: Around $ 75-80/hour (Flexible for the Right Candidate)

We are seeking an experienced Senior Systems/Infrastructure Engineer to join our client's team in Dallas, TX. This is an immediate backfill opportunity for a critical role supporting enterprise infrastructure initiatives. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical expertise, excellent professionalism, and the ability to work effectively in a collaborative onsite environment.

This position starts as a 6-month contract, with a high likelihood of extension and conversion to a full-time employee based on performance.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and support enterprise infrastructure solutions.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex system and infrastructure issues.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to maintain highly available and secure environments.
• Perform system upgrades, maintenance, and performance tuning.
• Document system configurations, processes, and operational procedures.
• Participate in infrastructure planning and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Ensure adherence to organizational security standards and best practices.

Required Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Senior Systems or Infrastructure Engineer in enterprise environments.
• Strong expertise in Windows/Linux server administration, virtualization, storage, networking, and enterprise infrastructure technologies.
• Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
• Professional demeanor with a proven ability to work effectively within a team.
• Must be able to successfully pass a CJIS (Criminal Justice Information Services) background check.
• Must be willing to work onsite in Dallas, TX, five days per week.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience supporting large enterprise environments.
• Knowledge of infrastructure automation and scripting.
• Experience with cloud platforms (Azure and/or AWS) is a plus.
• Relevant industry certifications are preferred.
