Title: Technical Project Manager – Network Infrastructure / Office Buildouts

Location: Pleasanton, CA (Remote okay)

Duration: Long-Term Contract

Employment Type: Contract (40 Hours/Week)

Rate: 50- 60/hr (Depending on Experience for the right person)

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Technical Project Manager with a strong background in network infrastructure projects and enterprise office buildouts. This role will lead the planning, coordination, and execution of large-scale network deployments for new office locations, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and according to technical and business requirements.

The ideal candidate combines strong project management skills with hands-on knowledge of networking technologies and engineering processes, enabling effective communication between technical teams, vendors, and business stakeholders.

Required Qualifications

• 7 years of Project Management experience leading technical infrastructure initiatives.
• Experience managing enterprise network infrastructure projects.
• Strong understanding of LAN/WAN, wireless, routing, switching, firewalls, and structured cabling.
• Experience managing office relocations, new office buildouts, or campus infrastructure deployments.
• Working knowledge of network engineering concepts to effectively communicate with technical teams.
• Experience managing project budgets and financial reporting.
• Experience reviewing and managing Bills of Materials (BOMs).
• Knowledge of SDLC and project governance methodologies.
• Strong vendor management and stakeholder communication skills.
• Experience using project management tools such as Microsoft Project, Smartsheet, Jira, or similar.
• Excellent organizational, leadership, and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• PMP certification preferred.
• Experience with enterprise retail environments.
• Familiarity with structured cabling, low-voltage infrastructure, and data center/network deployments.
• Experience working with cross-functional engineering, infrastructure, and operations teams.
