What are the responsibilities and job description for the Heavy-Duty Mechanic - Field position at MasterTech?
Experienced Heavy Equipment Mechanics, and Industrial Millwrights are needed in the Wytheville, VA region. Working with a large service, rental and parts distributor supporting the Construction, Mining and Recycling industries. An opportunity to work with a team of experienced Technicians locally, and out-of-state on client sites.
Compensation:
- $30.00 - $40.00/hour
- Full Benefits Post 30-Days

- Company Service Truck, Gas/Expense Card for Travel
Shift/Schedule:
- Monday to Friday OT
- 7:00am Start Times, Mobile Dispatch
- Paid Windshield/Travel Time
- Technicians Travel can vary, 1-3 nights per week.
Requirements:
- 5 Years Heavy Equipment Maintenance, large machinery (stationary or mobile)
- Background with Screening, Crushing, Conveyors, Trommels, Shredders a strong asset
- Comfortable with Hydraulics, Welding, Electrical, Preventative Maintenance, Diesel Engines
- Valid Drivers License, Own Tools (Specialty Provided), ability to work independently
- Successful candidates will be subject to background checks, drug screening
