What are the responsibilities and job description for the Heavy Duty Mechanic position at MasterTech?
MasterTech is on the search for an experienced Heavy Duty Mechanic in Salt Lake City, UT.
Responsibilities include maintenance, diagnostics, repair, and full rebuilds to various types of mining equipment, including surface drills, shovels, earth-moving equipment, etc.
Compensation:
- $30.00 - $47.00/hour.
- 100% employer paid benefits for the individual. Family benefit plans available. Includes medical, dental, vision, and life insurance contributions, paid time off/vacation, 401K with matching contributions, etc.
Shift:
6:00AM start time, Monday to Friday. 10 - 11 hour days. Overtime paid after 40 hours per week.
Key Qualifications:
- 3 or more years of experience as a professional Mechanic.
- Backgrounds in Mining, Oilfield, and/or construction are the most applicable.
- Excellent understanding of electrical and hydraulic systems.
- Able to read and interpret schematics and blueprints.
- Owns a full set of tools and valid driver's license.
