What are the responsibilities and job description for the Kennel Attendant/Receptionist position at Masters Boarding Kennels?
we are looking to hire a hard working individual who loves all animals. This is a dual position of having both responsibilities of a kennel attendant and receptionist. The perfect candidate will express a desire to learn and excel within our organization while always ensuring they provide quality care to all animals and clientele. Previous animal care or clerical/receptionist experience is a plus but not a requirement as we will train the right person who is fit for this role.
Job responsibilities include but not limited to:
- Feeding, watering and medicating pets
- Cleaning enclosures and maintaining a clean environment at all times
- Answering phones and scheduling appointments for boarding, grooming and training
- Checking in and out appointments while providing excellent customer service
- Collecting vaccine verification with veterinary offices
- Collecting care and/or service instructions from pet owners over the phone and at drop-off
- Taking payments during checkout and when scheduling appointments.
