Job Summary
The Director is the strategic architect and operational leader of the enterprise’s data-to-value pipeline. This role is responsible for the vision, governance, and execution of Business Intelligence, Data Engineering, and—most critically—the AI Center of Excellence (CoE). You will lead the transition from traditional descriptive reporting to a future-state ecosystem of predictive modeling and Generative AI (GenAI) integration, ensuring that AI is not just a pilot, but a scalable driver of business value.
Key Accountabilities
Technical Skills & Ecosystem Fluency
Enterprise Integration (Oracle & Salesforce): Ability to lead strategies that harmonize back-office data (Oracle ERP) with front-office insights (Salesforce) and other legacy ERP to create a unified "Customer 360" view.
Data Fabric Strategy: High-level understanding of Data Fabric principles to ensure data flows seamlessly across our Snowflake cloud, Oracle, Salesforce, and legacy systems without creating new silos.
Snowflake AI Data Cloud: Strategic oversight of Snowflake as the enterprise engine for both traditional BI and emerging AI/ML workloads.
Modern Data Tooling: Familiarity with the roles of dbt, Talend, and Power BI/Qlik in the data lifecycle to ensure team output is scalable and governed.
AI Orchestration: Understanding of how to integrate Generative AI and LLMs into existing business workflows (e.g., embedding AI insights directly into Salesforce or Oracle reporting).

- AI Center of Excellence (CoE) & GenAI Transformation (High Priority)
- Strategic AI Roadmap: Lead the design and deployment of the enterprise AI strategy, prioritizing GenAI, LLM integration, and "Agentic" workflows that automate complex business processes.
- Responsible AI Governance: Establish the framework for ethical AI, including bias mitigation, data privacy, and security protocols in partnership with Legal and Risk teams.
- Value Orchestration: Develop a "Value Realization" framework to move AI use cases from Proof of Concept (PoC) to full-scale production with measurable ROI.
- Democratization: Lead the rollout of "AI Copilots" and natural-language querying tools, enabling non-technical users to interact with data conversationally.
- Advanced Analytics & Machine Learning
- Predictive/Prescriptive Engine: Direct the data science team in building ML models for demand forecasting, supply chain optimization, and churn prediction.
- Model Lifecycle Management (MLOps): Ensure all models are monitored for "drift" and maintained for long-term accuracy and reliability.
- Enterprise Business Intelligence & Reporting
- Metric Standardization: Serve as the "Single Source of Truth" gatekeeper, ensuring consistent KPI definitions across global business units.
- Self-Service Evolution: Transition the organization from "request-and-build" static reports to dynamic, self-service environments using Power BI/Qlik.
- Data Engineering & Cloud Infrastructure (The Foundation)
- Snowflake Ecosystem: Oversee the architecture and cost-optimization of the Snowflake Data Cloud.
- Modern Data Stack (MDS): Direct the use of dbt, Talend, and orchestration tools to ensure data is "AI-ready" (clean, labeled, and accessible).
- Strategic Leadership & Talent
- Change Management: Act as a primary evangelist for data literacy, helping the organization overcome resistance to AI adoption.
- Team Building: Coach a multidisciplinary team of Data Engineers, BI Developers, and Data Scientists, fostering a culture of rapid experimentation.

Required
- AI/ML Fluency: Deep understanding of the GenAI landscape (LLMs, RAG architecture, Prompt Engineering) and traditional ML (Regression, Clustering, Neural Networks).
- Architectural Vision: Ability to bridge the gap between "Deep Tech" (Snowflake/dbt) and "Business Value" (C-Suite presentations).
- Cloud Fluency: Expert-level knowledge of the Azure or AWS AI ecosystem.
- Executive Presence: Proven ability to influence leadership stakeholders on high-stakes technology investments.
- Sector Experience: Background in Manufacturing or Supply Chain.
- Financial Acumen: Experience managing multi-million dollar Opex/Capex budgets for cloud consumption and licensing.
- Education: Bachelor’s in a quantitative field (STEM); MBA or MS in Data Science/AI preferred.
- Experience: 12 years in Data/Analytics, with at least 5 years in a formal leadership role.
- AI Track Record: Must be able to demonstrate at least two successful, scaled AI/ML deployments in a corporate environment.
