Job Summary: The Operations Project Manager is responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing operational initiatives that improve efficiency, standardize processes, and strengthen day-to-day performance across the organization.
This is a cross-collaborative role working closely with Operations, Service, Parts, Sales, IT, and all internal stakeholders, ensuring delivery of key projects within scope, while effecting a measurable business impact. This is a forward-thinking role that drives change management, while aligning people and projects to long-term company growth and scalability.
Essential Functions:
- Operational Project Leadership
- Lead end-to-end planning and execution of operational projects, including process improvement initiatives, technology implementations, facility changes, and cross-department workflow enhancements.
- Build project charters, timelines, communication plans, and KPI’s.
- Coordinate with department managers to understand impacts, resource needs, and operational constraints.
- Ensure projects stay on schedule and escalate risks or delays pro-actively.
- Process Improvement.
- Analyze current workflows, document gaps, and identify opportunities to streamline operations.
- Facilitate mapping sessions with teams to redesign processes that reduce errors, improve cycle time, and strengthen consistency across locations.
- Support the development of SOP’s, training documents, and implementation playbooks.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Serve as bridge between Operations and other departments to ensure alignment of goals, expectations, and deliverables.
- Partner with IT on system enhancements, data needs, and technology adoption.
- Oversee communication with Branch Managers and frontline Supervisors to ensure smooth roll-out, buy-in, and acclimation to new processes and/or products that support the business needs.
- Change Management
- Prepare teams for new processes, systems, or operational changes through communication, training coordination, and feedback loops.
- Help leaders manage resistance, build support, and reinforce new ways of working.
- Track adoption and effectiveness post implementation.
- Performance Tracking & Reporting
- Develop metrics and dashboards to measure project outcomes and operational performance.
- Provide clear, digestible weekly updates to leadership summarizing status, risks and next steps.
- Support continuous improvement efforts using data-driven insights.
- Vendor & Partner Coordination
- Coordinate with external vendors, consultants, or system providers for project deliverables.
- Track installation, implementation, or service timelines for operational equipment, technology, or facility updates.

Work Environment:
Fast-paced, hands-on operational setting with daily cross-department interaction. In-person in a professional office setting, with regular time spent in service and production environments to understand workflows.
Physical Demands:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally required to stand; walk; sit; use hands to handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls; reach with hands and arms; climb stairs; talk or hear. The employee must occasionally lift or move office products and supplies, up to 20 pounds.
Required Education/Experience/Certifications:
- 3-5 plus years of experience leading diverse operational and cross-functional projects.
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, management, or similar relevant field.
- Strong understanding of operational workflows in a multi-site environment
- Strong technological acumen
- Proven record of success with leading cross-functional projects that support growth and scalability
- Microsoft 365 expert, with focus on Teams planning & collaboration
Preferred Education/Experience/Certifications:
- Master’s in Project Management or similar relevant field.
- Project Management Professional certification, or equivalent.

Salary : $110,000 - $130,000
