What are the responsibilities and job description for the Accounting Associate position at Master Search Solutions?
Our tenured client, a well-respected industrial/commercial real estate firm in Central NJ, is searching for an Accounting Associate to join their well-established team. This is an onsite role with one day work from home after a 6 month training period (and at the discretion of our client).
In this role you will be responsible for:
ACCOUNTS PAYABLE (AP):
Processing invoices and disbursements, including assembling checks and documents for mailing. Reconciling statement ensuring that all payables are accurate and current. Maintaining and updating databases.
ACCOUNTS RECEIVABLE (AR):
Processing and posting cash receipts. Processing/distributing billings. Preparing/distributing AR aging and following up on the collections.
GENERAL ACCOUNTING:
Entering leases and amendments into the system. Maintaining and preparing supporting schedules for GL accounts. Reconciling accounts. Assisting in the preparation of budgets and schedules for annual audits.
YOU MIGHT BE THE RIGHT PERSON IF YOU HAVE:
1-3 years of accounting experience working in either industrial or commercial real estate
Bachelor’s degree (B.A. or B. S.) in accounting from a four-year college or university is required
Yardi (or a similar software) and advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook.
OUR CLIENT OFFERS:
- Base salary $65,000 to $75,000 per year
