Operations/Accounting Associate

Company Overview:

A regional bank headquartered in New Jersey, specializing in personal and business banking services, is seeking an Operations/Accounting Associate for a short-term project. The role focuses on supporting a critical system conversion within the bank's operations.

Job Responsibilities:

• Perform control processes tied to Loan Operations, Deposit Operations, ACH, and ATMs
• Perform daily transaction review and clearance of various product control accounts
• Execute account and balance sheet reconciliations
• Run reports and research items within the IBS core banking systems
• Partner with internal teams across accounting, operations, and IT
  
  

Qualifications:

• 2–6 years of experience in operations or accounting
• Hands-on experience with operational workflows
• Strong background in transaction clearing, reconciliations, and cash applications
• Experience with FIS Global IBS (Integrated Banking System) is strongly preferred
• Strong Excel skills and attention to detail
• Prior experience supporting system conversions or implementations is preferred
  
  

Compensation: Pay Rate: $40 – $45/hr, DOE
