Job Summary

The Payroll Specialist is responsible for processing payroll for their assigned company codes. This includes, but is not limited to keying pay adjustments, deductions, auditing timesheets, and other administrative duties. This position supports the Human Resources team and works with all personnel.

• Process payroll accurately and timely.
• Key in pay adjustments and deductions, as needed.
• Perform audits on timesheets to ensure accuracy.
• Perform other duties as required and/or assigned.

• High school diploma, or equivalent.
• 2-3 years of Payroll experience.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Strong computer and typing skills.

Preferred

• Associate degree, including credit hours in human resources, business, or a related field of study.

Physical Demands and Work Environment 

This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, copiers, and scanners.  

The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of the job. This position is primarily sedentary, with some filing or lifting required. Must be able to bend and lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
