Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role based in Boston, MA, for a Homeownership Advisor. The Homeownership Advisor will support individuals and families in achieving sustainable homeownership through educational workshops, one-on-one counseling sessions, and financial guidance. Responsibilities include assisting clients with budgeting, credit improvement, navigating mortgage options, and understanding the homebuying process. The Advisor will also conduct outreach to underserved communities, maintain accurate client records, and collaborate with community partners and lenders to address systemic barriers to homeownership.

Qualifications

• Experience in financial counseling, budgeting, or credit analysis.
• Strong communication, public speaking, and one-on-one advising skills.
• Proficiency in data management, record-keeping, and using client management systems.
• Commitment to promoting equity and addressing systemic barriers in homeownership.
• Ability to work with diverse populations and provide culturally competent services.
• Organizational, time management, and problem-solving skills.
• Experience with outreach or community engagement is a plus.
• Fluency in additional languages is a plus.
