Maintenance Tech - Full Time
Position Summary:
Maintains continuity of service for the heating, cooling, steam, gas, water treatment, general utilities, emergency backup systems, equipment and machinery necessary for the functioning of Hospital and allied property. Install, troubleshoots and repairs complex mechanical equipment and distribution systems, involving work of varied nature with minimum supervision. Observes and enforces safety regulations and practices and maintains safety and fire equipment.
Shift: 3:00 pm to 11:30 pm
Minimum Qualifications:
Education: High School Diploma or GED
Experience: 2 years related work experience or completion of approved, accredited trade school program or apprenticeship preferred. Certification or licensing in one of the following specialties preferred: Plumbing, pipefitting, welding or boilers. General knowledge of use of personal computer and ability to learn operation software applications. Knowledgeable of standards and codes applicable to health care facilities. Must be able to read and follow blueprints. Must be knowledgeable of Life Safety code, NFPA and ADA requirements and specifications.
