What are the responsibilities and job description for the PTA - FT position at Massac Memorial Hospital?
Provide treatment to assigned patients under supervision of Physical Therapist (PT) following established plan of care. Works collaboratively with supervising Physical Therapist & other healthcare professionals & staff to ensure patients reach maximum level of function.
Essential Functions (Duties, Tasks & Responsibilities):
- Provide direct patient care following the Illinois State Practice Act (ISPA) & department procedures following plan of care under supervision of PT.
- Communicate regularly with PT on patient progress & any condition change.
- Provide patient &/or family education & home exercise program instruction.
- Maintain patient records including progress notes, discharges, notes to physicians & required prescriptions & signatures.
Salary : $24 - $39
