Position: Receptionist - 197 Days
Location: Mason Middle School

Performance Responsibilities
*Receives the public, school personnel, and others in an efficient and invitational manner.
*Responsible for sorting mail and packages for distribution to appropriate department or personnel. 
*Update and maintain employee mailboxes throughout the school year.
*Responsible for the preparation of documents assigned by the Principal.
*Receives incoming calls and dispatches them appropriately.
*Provide customer service for the general public, as well as students, teachers, staff, and other district personnel.
*Maintain printouts of activities/meetings and important details of events at the front desk.
*Manage parent volunteers for front desk; recruit, schedule, train, and oversee daily volunteer task.  Maintain spreadsheet for work schedule.
*Generate student work permits in the State of Ohio website system, as required.
*Manage and utilize the lobby door entrance security access system at front desk (ALPhone).
*Maintain and utilize Lobbyguard system for guest visitor badge.
*Issue elevator key (s) to students and staff as needed and maintain a log system for keys.
*Responsible for working open house night and one parent teacher conference.
 *Update and assign display cases to teacher/staff; maintain log and key checkout list.
*Assist other departments as needed; including filing when requested or needed.
*Other duties as assigned.
